Energy Rebate Information
Compact Fluorescent Bulbs
According to the US Government, switching from traditional light bulbs to CFL's is an effective, accessible change every American can make right now to reduce energy use at home and prevent greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global climate change. Lighting accounts for close to 20% of the average home's electric bill. ENERGY STAR qualified CFLs use up to 75% less energy than incandescent light bulbs and last up to 10 times longer. Dimmers & Motion Sensors
Dimmers and motion sensors are an economical way to reduce the amount of energy your home consumes. Motion sensors can be set to automatically turn your lights off after you have left the room. (These are perfect for childrens rooms.)
